Hon. Mark Brantley at OAS Symposium (CFR)

The Honourable Mark Brantley, Leader of the Opposition in the Federal Assembly, is one of several guests of the Organization of American States ( “OAS” ) at a 2 day symposium convened in Kingston Jamaica from September 2nd to 3rd, 2010 to discuss the issue of campaign finance reform and draft model legislation for the region addressing that issue. This will be formulated under the auspices of the OAS and will formally be presented to the general secretaries of the various political parties for their consideration.
Honourable Brantley joins other parliamentarians and political party representatives from throughout the caribbean region for this 2 day meeting. The regional meeting will be inaugurated by OAS Secretary General Jose Miguel Insulza as well as Jamaican Prime Minister Bruce Golding and Opposition Leader Portia Simpson Miller.
